Crayons was proud to support children of few communities during the COVID-19 crisis.
In response to the need for additional health and safety precautions, we have put the following standard operating procedures (SoPs) in place designed to keep all of our students, families, teachers and support staff safe.
Everyday mandatory thermal screening for all staff and students at the entrance.
It will be repeated again during lunch break and again in the evening for those who are staying back in school after the school hours.
Currently school access is limited to students and authorized staff members only. Wearing a mask is mandatory for everyone entering the school premises.
Staggered time will be followed to avoid crowding and to ensure social distancing norms.
To minimize the introduction of germs, staff and students remove their “outdoor shoes” upon arrival and keep it aside.
Everyone must carry their own food (snacks and meals) and drinking water. Depending on the requirement, food will be heated before serving.
All the shared surfaces and spaces are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized throughout the day with deep cleanings and disinfection of entire premises happening every weekend.
All toys and equipment are systematically cleaned and sanitized throughout the day and in between uses.
High priority is placed on frequency and proper hand-washing upon arrival and throughout the day. Hand sanitisers will be provided at the entrance and in all classrooms and in all other common areas.
